How to: Hide a control in report.
Solution:
In the Report Design view, select the desired control, select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. Then click the 'Format' tab, and select 'No' in the 'Visible' property box.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Report' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired report from the list box. (The selected report is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected form appears in the Design view and the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) Click to select the desired control. (Handles appear around the control.)

NOTE: Each control must be selected individually; if a control has an attached label, the control and label must be selected individually.
6) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. (The property sheet appears for the selected control.)
7) Click the 'Format' tab.
8) Click in the 'Visible' box. (A down arrow appears.)
9) Click on the down arrow. (A drop-down list appear.)

10) Select 'No' from the 'Visible' drop-down list.

11) To close the property sheet, click the 'X' in the upper-right hand corner of the property sheet.

NOTE: The properties will be saved only when the design view is saved.
